* "A very old edition of Mike Hames' Taylor sesionography lists CBS Sony SONF01107 without a title. I can confirm the existence of an lp entitled "The Cecil Taylor All Stars featuring Buell Neidlinger". I believe they are one and the same. I am also pretty sure... that the contents are the same as what was later released on Candid/Black Lion 9013, "Jumpin' Punkins". The cover artwork is different. Hames discography ends in 1973. I first heard the CBS Sony recording on a WKCR Taylor festival in March of 1979. All of this suggests a release date sometime in the 1970's, perhaps near to that of the Barnaby issue, i.e., early 70's. --Ed Rhodes, posting to Cecil Taylor Research Group 04.05.22

"A selection out of the original series has been reissued on the Barnaby label in the US in 1972, distributed by CBS in Europe as well as in Japan. Album titles have been changed for these reissues, such as THE WORLD Of CECIL TAYLOR (9006) becomes AIR (Barnaby 30562) --Lukas Lindenmaier, posting to CT Research Group 04.05.23
